....But just in case you reallllllly need some answers, here are some of our most

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I park?
In Orlando, you can park along Corrine Drive, or in the alley behind us. If those are full, we have two amazing, large parking lots. One is the school right behind us. You can park there all day, any day. It’s most convenient to come in the back doors if you park there. You can also park at the Women’s Clinic right across the street from the yoga studios after 5pm weekdays, and all day weekends. Be careful crossing the street - we recommend going up and using the light. Please do not park in front of other businesses’ doors; they get cranky about that.

In Dunedin, there are a few spots in front and a few spots in back. Otherwise, there is free parking on the streets in Dunedin, and a huge free parking garage behind us with the entrance from Monroe street. It’s UNDERNEATH Nature’s Food Patch [ACROSS the street from the Brewery] Please do not park in front of the shop next to us, or in any of the spots labeled for HOB. They may tow you.

What do I need to bring for my first class?
The most important thing to bring is yourself! We say "Just show up!"
We suggest also bringing water and a hand towel. We do have water coolers and we have glass cups to fill or to fill your re-usable bottles but we do not sell plastic water bottles. We have hand/face/sweat towels free of charge. For yoga, bring a mat if you have one, but you can rent one of ours for $5 or even purchase one from us - we have a small selection! For spin, bring clip-in cycle shoes (SPD cleats) or wear sneakers. If you happen to show up in flip-flops, we've got sneaks to borrow!

Is the first class free?
We actually do not offer a "first class free" policy. Our services are excellent, and we value our teachers, and our policies help create a sustainable wage for our team. We sometimes hand out free class passes at various special events and locations in the local area which can be used by at any time, but only one single time per person. We also offer an unbeatable introductory special for people that are new to our studio- 30 days of unlimited classes (including yoga, spin, weights, and anything else on the schedule!) for just $49. Also our special ONE Membership has many perks, one of those being 3 guest passes per month, which can be given to and used by anyone regardless of number of times the person has come to the studio."

How early do I have to come?
If it is your first time at Warrior ONE, we recommend coming in 15 minutes before the start time of class. If you want to shop or talk to an instructor/staff member or if you just want to hang outside the studio, come 20 minutes before the start of class!

What if I'm late?

If you arrive a few minutes late, go to the front desk to check in first and they will help you sneak seamlessly into class if that is possible for that particular class, based on space and timing..

What style of yoga is taught at Warrior One?
We offer a few different types of yoga classes: vinyasa which is a flowing style of yoga where the poses link together to form a sequence that almost seems like choreography. Those are taught in a more relaxed laid back way (that’s cool flow, slow flow, happy hips) AND in a powerful, challenging way (thats hot power!). We also offer yin/restorative yoga which is very slow moving and is on the ground for almost the entire class - poses are held longer and supported by props.

We also have Spinning, Rowing, Strength, Weights, and Combo classes!

How do I early cancel myself from a class?
Here's a super simple step by step guide:

2. Click the "My Info" Tab at the top
3. Click "My Schedule" towards the top of the page, underneath the main tabs
4. You'll see everything you are registered for, to the far right find the word "Cancel" and click it!
5. A pop up will show up asking if you are sure you want to cancel, click okay, and you are done!

Note that we have a 2 hour cancellation window in Orlando. You will receive an email that you may be charged if you cancel with less than two hour’s notice. If you have a special circumstance, please email us BEFOREHAND at info@wearewarriorone.com so we can try to get your slot OPEN for someone else to use it.

On the MindBody App:
1. Open app on your mobile device
2. Click "schedule" on the bottom
3. Click "upcoming" on the top
4. Click the class you want to cancel
5. When the new window opens, click "cancel" on the bottom
6. Window will pop up, Click "cancel booking"

What if I am under 18?
A parent will need to sign a waiver for you. You can send us an email at info@wearewarriorone.com and request the waiver so you can print and have it signed at home, then bring it with you to your first class. Younger kids will go to kids classes. Occasionally we have kids under 16 attend adult classes.

It’s really an individual determination. If they are under 16 they must have an adult with them at all times. It would have to be a situation where you are reasonably sure the child could participate in the class and stay quiet and non-distracting the whole time - no getting off the mat or participating in distracting behavior. Every child is different, so you would probably be able to predict. We also don’t recommend the heated classes for children who don’t have a lot of yoga experience.

What if I can't even touch my toes?
If you can believe it, this is one of the most common questions a new person will ask! The best answer we can give is super simple: flexibility is NOT a prerequisite of yoga, its a side-effect! If you can't touch your toes, that is the EXACT reason why you come on in!

Which type of class should I try first?
If you have not been participating in any type of fitness activities for a while:
For Yoga: Gentle, Basics, Happy Hips, and Cool Flow are all pretty laid back. They move a little slower and you don’t have the added challenge of the heat. Those are great classes to start wtih. Yin/deep stretch is really mellow, too. In yin you will hold poses for longer but they are on the floor with lots of props for support! Anyone of any level is welcome to any class on the schedule though!
For Spin/Row: Just come, and do what you can. You can definitely decide to only take PART of a class as you build up endurance, and as your body gets used to the SEAT. Or just switch over to a rower after some spinning. We promise it just takes 3-4 classes to get used to the spin seat :)
For Weights: Any! You can tailor it to your fitness level.
If you have been on some kind of fitness regimen but just haven't ever tried yoga or spin:
Any class will probably be fine.

Our words of wisdom:
1. Hot Power is HOT and fast paced.
2. Hot Power CORE is HOT and fast paced AND....
.....there's 15 solid minutes of core work woven into the flow of the class.
3. Spin/Row is adaptable - you just do what you can, and work harder, or less-hard, as you need to right now. We won’t call you out when you are taking the level that YOU need today. Same for ALL of our classes. We will encourage you to challenge yourself AND ALSO we will encourage you to be compassionate with yourself.

Are all the classes hot? And just how hot is "hot"?
Hot classes are labeled HOT on the schedule. If you don't see the word HOT on the schedule, you will know that it is a non-heated class. In a "hot" class, the room is heated to 90 degrees. The heat is a powerful way to cleanse and detox your body from the inside out!

What if I [am pregnant] [have a slipped disk] [just got my knee replaced] [insert anything here]?
Yoga can be remarkable healing for many conditions. We have well-trained instructors ready to assist your individual needs. Every single BODY is different, though, and we know each person has his or her own story. The best thing you can do if you are concerned about something is shoot us an email at info@wearewarriorone.com and ask! If you are pregnant, have had a surgery, joint replacement, or critical injury in the recent past, you should obtain clearance from a medical doctor before any physical activity.

How many classes per week should I go to in order to see results?
Depending on what you're looking for, anywhere from 3-5 times/week. We know, we know, you're so busy! There is incredible power to be discovered when you make "wellness" time for yourself. With a membership at Warrior ONE you will have access to Yoga, Spinning (cardio), Strength Training, Massage, and Wellness Workshops. You can calm your mind, gain peace and clarity, increase your flexibility,  strengthen your heart and lungs, tone up your entire body, and then get a massage to work out all the sore muscles  ALL IN ONE PLACE!
If you are interested in having a conversation around what you want and need, you can set up a coaching consultation with us. We will get clear on what your goals are, what's possible for you, and what type of schedule you should work with in order to achieve those goals in your desired amount of time. To set up a coaching session, email us at info@wearewarriorone.com

Do I have to pre-register for class?
We highly recommend signing in ahead of time. We have limited bikes and rowers and limited mat spaces and classes fill up quick! You can sign in via the CLASS SCHEDULE button at the top of this page or the MindBody Connect app (see question below). If you sign in ahead of time, when you arrive at the studio all you have to do is click "check in" on the IPAD at the front desk! You should cancel yourself out of class if you sign up and then do not make it.

Is there an app?
We use the MindBody software which means that you can access the updated schedule at ANY time through your web browser or through apps created by MindBody. To download the free app, go to your app store on your cell phone and search MindBody. Once you download the app on your phone, search for our name, Warrior ONE. It's pretty user friendly, but if you have any trouble, bring your phone with you next time you come in and our desk staff would be happy to help.
